|
Getting a good performance from third baseman Bryan Linardos, the Cal State Fullerton Titans defeated the Texas Longhorns, 11-4. Linardos went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Titans. The Titans bumped their record to 23-20 with this latest triumph.
Chris Myerholtz, who is tied for 2nd in the RDL in doubles with 14, aided the Cal State Fullerton cause with a 2-run triple in the top of the second. For the game, the second baseman was 1-5 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3.
