Extra-Inning Win by Prowlers over Toreros

The Memorial Circle Park faithful were treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.
The Oklahoma City Prowlers did just enough to secure a 2-1 victory over the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Memorial Circle Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Manuel Crespo, who captured player of the game honors. The Toreros, now 28-47, have lost 4 straight.
The Prowlers got a big at-bat from third baseman Frank Nemchik. For the game, Nemchik went 1 for 5. In the bottom of the 11th, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 14th hit of the season gave Oklahoma City a 2-1 lead.
"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Oklahoma City manager Jorge Valdéz.
