Streaking Bears Win Another One
The Baylor Bears dealt the Tulane Green Wave a 6-2 loss at Berthoud College Grounds. Bobby Pink was the star on offense. He was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Baylor reliever Justin Whitling picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jeremy Williams was saddled with the loss. Earning his 3rd save for Baylor was Ben Mucherino.

Pink had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-1 changeup from Jeremy Williams, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Bears a 6-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Pink.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Pink, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."

Baylor has now won 7 straight.
