Tigers Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
Fans who came to Cypress Quarters College Grounds watched the Clemson Tigers and the Wake Forest Demon Deacans fight to the finish.

The Clemson Tigers bested the Wake Forest Demon Deacans by a score of 10-9, with right fielder Joe Bates getting the main credit. On the day, Bates was 4-5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Tigers. Even with the win, the Tigers have a dismal 13-27 record.
