O'Dell hits 2 home runs, Cyclones Move to 24-16
The Iowa State Cyclones bested the Kansas Jayhawks by a score of 10-6, with center fielder Matt O'Dell getting the main credit. On the day, O'Dell belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Cyclones. The winner was Ben Albertson in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Jonathan Countryman took the loss. The Cyclones bumped their record to 24-16 with this latest triumph.

Chris Krause aided the Iowa State cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the right fielder went 3-3 with 3 singles and was hit by a pitch.
