The USC Trojans faced a tough opponent in Oregon pitcher Justin Phelps, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Crunch Ballpark by a final score of 5-4. Phelps went 5 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Justin Larson earned the save, his 1st, for the Trojans. The Trojans have now won 4 straight.
Andrew Bledsoe helped out the USC cause in the top of the eighth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the pinch hitter drew 1 walk.
