Henry slugs 2 home runs, Bears Move to 25-15
|
The 2033 season is getting ugly for Arizona.
The Baylor Bears bested the Arizona Wildcats by a score of 9-6, with shortstop Mike Henry getting the main credit. On the day, Henry hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Bears. Dave Sumpter earned the win for Baylor. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 4 hits, while striking out 7. With the win, he raised his record to 3-1.
With Baylor leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Henry hit a cutter from Kevin Renn for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Bears ahead, 4-1.
"I like how we're playing right now," said Henry.
The Bears, at 25-15, have now won 6 straight.
