Bulldogs Fall Short, 4-3, at Arizona
|
Red Wings Ballpark was the site of a competitive game between the Fresno State Bulldogs and Arizona Wildcats.
The Wildcats had to overcome a good performance from Fresno State pitcher Lance Bundy to claim a 4-3 win at Red Wings Ballpark. Bundy went 5.1 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Billy Murray recorded the save for Arizona, his 2nd of the season.
Justin King, who is tied for 10th in the RDL in bases on balls with 31, aided the Arizona cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the right fielder was 1-4.
After the game, Arizona manager Zak Buchanan applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
Arizona bumps their record to 14-25 with the win.
