Cardinals Jolt Longhorns with Late Rally

The Texas Longhorns got a sterling performance from pitcher Andy Robisch, but the Cardinals still prevailed, 3-2. Robisch was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings of shutout ball. Stanford is now 16-21, while Texas is 15-22.
Chris Barnhart was the walk-off hero for Stanford. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cardinals shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"We take it day by day here," said Barnhart, "and today was a good one for us."
