Quebec Armada starter Adhipa Vemireddy was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Maple Marauders, 5-2. Vemireddy, now 8-2, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 11, walking 2, and allowing 2 earned runs. The Armada bumped their record to 40-32 with this latest triumph.
Felipe Reyes, who is tied for 5th in the TML in runs scored with 50, aided the Quebec cause with a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the third baseman went 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Reyes told reporters after the game.
