Wildcats Rally For Late Win Over Green Wave
Arizona beat Tulane at Red Wings Ballpark, escaping with a 8-7 win. The win in large part was due to first baseman Bill Luty, who earned player of the game honors. He went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Even with the win, the Wildcats have a dismal 12-23 record.

Arizona's win came gift-wrapped. With two out in the bottom of the ninth, with the game tied, Paul Bellis reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Luty. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
