Djordjevic Helps Cowboys Run Win Streak to 6
|
The Oklahoma State Cowboys topped the Florida State Seminoles by the score of 8-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Doug Djordjevic. Djordjevic went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Cowboys on the day. The winner was Oklahoma State reliever Jake McGrew, now 1-0. The loser was Lance Crumpton. Getting the save was Bryan Marks, his 3rd.
Djordjevic had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Cowboys went on to win.
"I like our mindset right now," said Oklahoma State manager Chris Dunn.
Oklahoma State has now won 6 games in a row.
