Oregon Ducks starter Pete Tolbert was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Oregon State Beavers, 3-2. The Ducks bumped their record to 18-15 with this latest triumph.

Mike Christopher aided the Oregon cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop went 1-4.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Tolbert told the Oregon Herald.
