The South Mississippi Golden Eagles topped the Louisiana-Layfayette Ragin Cajuns by the score of 8-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman John Rose. Rose went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Golden Eagles on the day. Mike Clark, credited with the win, is now 1-0.
