Seminoles Win at Georgia Tech, 9-5
|
Georgia Tech right fielder Bryant Miller had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Miller was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once, even as Florida State beat the Yellow Jackets, 9-5. Miller was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Seminoles have an impressive 20-12 record.
Patrick Moran, who is tied for 9th in the SBL in triples with 2, helped out the Florida State cause in the top of the fourth inning with a bases-clearing double. For the game, the second baseman went 2 for 5 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Moran.
