Fans who gathered at Field of the Plunder saw a good contest between the Georgia Bulldogs and Indiana State Sycamores.

The Georgia Bulldogs topped the Indiana State Sycamores, 4-3, with youngster Larry Collier playing a key role. Collier was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times for the Bulldogs in the win. Georgia has now won 3 in a row.

Jerry LeGore, who is tied for 10th in the SBL in total bases with 81, aided the Georgia cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

LeGore called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
