Miguel Borrayo was instrumental in his team's 4-3 triumph over the Texas Longhorns. The third baseman was 1 for 3 with 2 walks for the Oregon Ducks. With the win, the Ducks improved to 17-13.
Hugo Rodriguez, who is tied for 3rd in the RDL in stolen bases with 9, aided the Oregon cause with a run-scoring ground out in the top of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder was 1-5.
"We had the game right there for the taking," said Texas manager Mitsuzuka Ito. "But we decided not to take it."
