Trojans Score Late to Upend Titans, 8-1
The USC Trojans topped the Cal State Fullerton Titans, 8-1, in Rod Dedeaux League action at Nesquehoning College Fields. The player of the game was USC pitcher and Chesapeake, Virginia native Kevin Maxwell. The Trojans bumped their record to 17-13 with this latest triumph.

The Trojans got a big at-bat from designated hitter Greg Dimon. For the game, Dimon was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. In the bottom of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 49th hit of the season gave USC a 2-1 lead.

"Losing is easy," said Dimon. "Winning is hard."
