Mustangs Need Extras to Top Toreros

The Mustangs faced a stiff challenge from Cabo San Lucas pitcher Joey Steamer, but persevered to claim a win at Field de Los Layendas. The final score was 4-2. Steamer went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The Mustangs bumped their record to 38-32 with this latest triumph.
Héctor Lara hit a 2-run double off Amirtharaj Nagaraja in the top of the tenth, which put the Mustangs in front, 4-2. In addition to the double, Lara had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
