Trojans Win in Glorious Fashion
The USC Trojans defeated the Texas Longhorns, 7-6, at Nesquehoning College Fields. USC shortstop Joe Mann was named player of the game for his superb performance. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. USC reliever Chris Moran picked up the win to move to 3-1. Craig Mehlin suffered the loss. The Trojans bumped their record to 15-13 with this latest triumph.

Mann had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 2-1 fastball from Craig Mehlin, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Trojans a 7-6 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Mann.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Mann.
