Victory Pushes Crimson Tide Record to 14-14
|
Alabama turned a good effort from starter Kyle Hoage into a win over the Miami Hurricanes at Titans Ballpark. The final score was 5-2. Alabama is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Mike Wesseler, who is tied for 6th in the SBL in bases on balls with 24, aided the Alabama cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder was 1-4 with a walk.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Wesseler. "And not try to do too much."
