Dimon has 4 RBI as Trojans Squeeze Past South Mississippi

The USC Trojans handed the South Mississippi Golden Eagles a loss at Nesquehoning College Fields. The final score was 9-8. Greg Dimon was named player of the game for USC. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 2 runs and drove in 4. He also added 1 walk. Dave Tressler, credited with the win, is now 1-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. With the win, USC goes to 13-12, while the Golden Eagles fall to 16-9.
Dimon had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-2 fastball from Kevin Scott, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Trojans a 9-7 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Dimon.
"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Dimon, "but we got it done."
