Multi-HR Game for Strickland in 6-3 Win
The Vanderbilt Commodores topped the Alabama Crimson Tide, 6-3, with youngster Matt Strickland playing a key role. Strickland slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Commodores in the win. The Commodores bumped their record to 12-11 with this latest triumph.

Strickland had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Commodores went on to win.

"I really like what we did out there today," Strickland said after the game.
