Yellow Jackets Roll to 8-1 Win Over Volunteers
|
It was a fun time at Castles Ballpark, where the Tennessee Volunteers and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets tangled.
Jamie Fisher was instrumental in his team's 8-1 triumph over the Tennessee Volunteers. The first baseman went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 6 runs and scored once for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Picking up the save was Angel Anaya, his 2nd.
Fisher had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Yellow Jackets went on to win.
"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Fisher told the Georgia Tech Observer.
The Yellow Jackets bumped their record to 13-10 with this latest triumph.
