Hampton Hits 2 home runs in Buckeyes Win
|
A 3-RBI performance from Ryan Hampton, who is tied for 9th in the SBL in total bases with 62, helped the Ohio State Buckeyes beat the South Carolina Gamecocks, 6-1. Mike Johnson earned save number 1. The win boosts the Buckeyes to 10-12. The loss puts the Gamecocks at 9-13.
Hampton had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the first inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Buckeyes went on to win.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Hampton said after the game.
