The Oregon Ducks got a magnificent effort from pitcher Pete Tolbert, who kept Houston hitters in check en route to a 1-0 Ducks win at Suns Ballpark. Earning his 7th save of the year was Victor Bustos. The Ducks bumped their record to 11-11 with this latest triumph.

The Ducks got a big at-bat from first baseman Zachary Long. For the game, Long was 1-4 with a triple. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Oregon a 1-0 lead.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Long told reporters after the game.
