Crimson Tide Solve Demon Deacans, 6-3
|
Alabama left fielder Mike Wesseler was a significant contributor in his team's 6-3 triumph over the Wake Forest Demon Deacans. He was 2-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs for Alabama. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Cole Orgera. The Crimson Tide bumped their record to 11-11 with this latest triumph.
The Crimson Tide got a big at-bat from catcher Alan Tetz. For the game, Tetz went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Alabama a 3-1 lead.
"Nervous? No," said Tetz. "It was my time to shine."
