Ragin Cajuns Edge Past Wildcats, 7-6
The Louisiana-Layfayette Ragin Cajuns knocked off the Arizona Wildcats, 7-6, at Red Wings Ballpark. Dan Miller, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Louisiana-Layfayette won. The right fielder was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Mike Manor recorded his 2nd save for Louisiana-Layfayette. The Ragin Cajuns are now 12-9, while the Wildcats fall to 10-11.

Late-game drama came in the top of the 11th inning. With no one out and the bases empty, the batter, Jeff Frost, hit a double. It helped Louisiana-Layfayette seize the win.
