Bulldogs Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus South Carolina
South Carolina got a terrific performance from pitcher Walt Edwards, but it wasn't enough to beat the Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia won the Scandals Ballpark contest, 6-3. Edwards was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He came in in relief and pitched to 16 batters . A.J. Schneider closed the door for Georgia, picking up his 6th save of the year. At 8-11, the Bulldogs are currently 17th in the Ron Fraser Division.

The Bulldogs had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 6-3, Georgia, with one out. South Carolina, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, was mounting a threat. Travis Stanford dug in at the plate, but on a 2-1 curveball, he popped out.
