The Wake Forest Demon Deacans defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes, 5-4, in Skip Bertman League action at Ballpark of Bloomfield College, with Wake Forest pitcher Ross Charest named player of the game. The win was David Shaffer's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Preston Williams took the loss for Ohio State. Zach Laudenbach closed the door for Wake Forest, picking up his 2nd save of the year.
