Cowboys Lose, 3-1, at Gremlins Ballpark
|
The Miami Hurricanes stopped the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 3-1, at Gremlins Ballpark. The Hurricanes got a big game from Chris Coleman, who went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Aaron Lentz closed the door for Miami, picking up his 4th save of the year. At 7-12, the Hurricanes are currently 22nd in the Ron Fraser Division.
Coleman contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Miami in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Coleman took a curveball from Brett Johnson and stroked the home run to right. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Hurricanes to leap in front, 3-1.
Coleman called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
