Douberly Excels in Fresno State Win
Conditions were not ideal but Fresno State and Tulane were able to put their game in the books.

The Fresno State Bulldogs defeated the Tulane Green Wave, 9-5, at Berthoud College Grounds today. Leading the charge for Fresno State was catcher Bobby Douberly. He was 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs. Cullen Wetmore nailed down his 3rd save.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when third baseman John LeMoine, who is tied for 2nd in the RDL in bases on balls with 18, drew a walk. The Bulldogs went on to win.

"Baseball is about momentum," said LeMoine, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."

The Bulldogs have an impressive 14-3 record.
