Muller Powers Seminoles to 8-2 Win
|
It was a good time at Ballpark of Riverdale College, where fans came to watch the Ohio State Buckeyes and Florida State Seminoles get after it.
The Florida State Seminoles downed the Ohio State Buckeyes, 8-2, at Ballpark of Riverdale College. The Seminoles were led by Walt Muller, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Lance Crumpton picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 5 in 5 innings.
Early in the game, third baseman Dan Troutner had a solo home run for Florida State. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Seminoles on top, 1-0.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Muller said after the game.
The Seminoles now have a record of 7-9.
