Cowboys Beat Visiting Gamecocks, 9-5
The Oklahoma State Cowboys dealt the South Carolina Gamecocks a 9-5 loss at Canaries Ballpark. Karl Odom was the star on offense. He went 2-5 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Bryan Marks earned save number 1. Even with the win, the Cowboys have a dismal 5-11 record.

Oklahoma State grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Odom hit a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Cowboys out in front, 7-4.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Odom told the Oklahoma State Chronicle. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
