Victory Over Bulldogs Takes Baylor to 11-5
The Baylor Bears picked up a win at Wolverines Stadium, knocking off the Mississippi State Bulldogs, 5-3. Starting pitcher Bennett Gallimore, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Gallimore got the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 3 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. Gallimore allowed no earned runs. Jarrod Cousins earned his 3rd save in 4 tries.

Bill Henson aided the Baylor cause with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Gallimore.

Baylor has now won 3 in a row.
