It was a good time at Madera College Grounds, where fans came to watch the Clemson Tigers and Tennessee Volunteers get after it.

The Tennessee Volunteers defeated the Clemson Tigers, 8-3, at Madera College Grounds today. Leading the charge for Tennessee was third baseman Josh Cascio. He went 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 3 runs. Joel McLain picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 6 in 5 innings.

Brian Clark, who is tied for 5th in the SBL in doubles with 5, aided the Tennessee cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the second. For the game, the first baseman was 1-5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Cascio.

The Volunteers bumped their record to 8-8 with this latest triumph.
