Multi-HR Game for Davis in 6-5 Win
|
The Ohio State Buckeyes topped the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 6-5, with first baseman Ron Davis playing a big role. Davis belted 2 home runs for the Buckeyes in the win. Ohio State is now 6-9, while Oklahoma State is 4-11.
Evan Kennedy aided the Ohio State cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the left fielder was 1-2 with a walk.
Davis expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
