Gators Win at Missouri, 4-2
|
Florida Gators starter Robbie Lawrence was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Missouri Tigers, 4-2. Lawrence picked up the win for Florida, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. The first-place Gators have won 5 straight.
With two out in the top of the fourth, Chris Crowley stroked a go-ahead 2-run single. It was his 10th hit of the season and put Florida in front, 3-1.
Crowley expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
