Decker Helps Kansas Cruise to 14-1 Win
The Kansas Jayhawks easily defeated the Miami Hurricanes, 14-1, at Gremlins Ballpark, with right fielder David Decker a main contributor to the win. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 5 for Kansas. Travis Thomason was the winning pitcher. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed no runs on 1 hit, with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts. The Jayhawks bumped their record to 7-7 with this latest triumph.
