Hot Start Continues for Cavaliers
Greg Wright was instrumental in his team's 13-7 triumph over the Missouri Tigers. The left fielder was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Virginia Cavaliers. Virginia reliever Cesar Reyes got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Nick Bell was tagged with the loss. The Cavaliers have an impressive 11-3 record.

D.J. Schulte put Virginia in front, 12-1, when he took Bobby Skiver downtown. His 3-run home run came with one out in the bottom of the fifth. It was his 1st home run of the season.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Wright.
