Wolverines Win at Tennessee, 7-5
|
The Michigan Wolverines topped the Tennessee Volunteers, 7-5, in Skip Bertman League action at Madera College Grounds. The player of the game was Michigan center fielder Emmanuel Ealey. Thomas Adams was the winner. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts. The Wolverines have an impressive 9-4 record.
The Wolverines got a big at-bat from left fielder Alex Garza. For the game, Garza went 1-5 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
