Leiby slugs 2 home runs as Sooners Squeeze Past North Carolina
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from T.J. Leiby, the Oklahoma Sooners defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels, 15-14. Leiby was 4-5 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 8 for the Sooners. Oklahoma reliever Mike Duff picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Josh Huntsman absorbed the loss. The Sooners have an impressive 10-3 record.

One important at-bat for Oklahoma came with one out in the top of the ninth inning. With the bases loaded, Leiby hit a bases-clearing double, which contributed to the Sooners win.

"This team is real focused right now," said Oklahoma manager Bennie Edwards.
