The Seattle Sasquatch overcame a good performance by Brooklyn second baseman Ichiyo Yano to knock off Brooklyn, 6-5, at Blue Ivy Stadium. Yano went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Jun Nakayama, who went 5.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 5 runs on 9 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 5-5.
