UCLA Bruins starter Marc McDougald turned in an exceptional performance against the Texas Longhorns at Ballpark of Celebration College, resulting in a UCLA win, 4-2. The Bruins bumped their record to 6-6 with this latest triumph.

William Poulis, who is tied for 4th in the RDL in total bases with 38, aided the UCLA cause with a run-scoring ground out in the top of the third. For the game, the designated hitter drove in one run.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said UCLA skipper Rick Osmond. "I can't complain."
