Zawacki Helps Texas A&M Outscore California
With second baseman Jordan Zawacki leading the charge, the Texas A&M Aggies defeated the California Golden Bears, 16-11, at Prisoners Ballpark. Zawacki, who is tied for 7th in the RDL in stolen bases with 3, was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Texas A&M reliever Will Salmon was credited with the win, to go to 1-1. Kerry Ayers took the loss for California. The Aggies bumped their record to 7-5 with this latest triumph.

Zawacki had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Kerry Ayers, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Aggies a 12-10 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Zawacki.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Zawacki. "And not try to do too much."
