Frampton Excels, But Bears Win
The Baylor Bears overcame a good performance by Oregon State designated hitter Danny Frampton to knock off Oregon State, 11-7, at Wolverines Stadium. Frampton went 2-2 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Baylor reliever Chad Flynn picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Adam Perkins was saddled with the loss. The Bears bumped their record to 8-4 with this latest triumph.

Bill Henson swatted a 3-run home run for Baylor in the bottom of the first. The designated hitter went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 3.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Henson. "And not try to do too much."
