Howard, who is tied for 7th in the SBL in runs scored with 13, went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Arkansas reliever Johnny Tarnowski was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Jason Murphy took the loss for Alabama. The Razorbacks bumped their record to 6-6 with this latest triumph.
