5 Straight Wins for Mustangs
The Mile High Mustangs topped the Vancouver Pioneers, 9-5, with right fielder José Rea playing a big role. Rea was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Mustangs in the win. The 4th-place Mustangs have won 5 straight games.

Rea contributed a big hit, a 2-run single, for Mile High in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 2-1, Rea took a fastball from Kenko Samurakami and stroked the single to left-center. His 61st hit of the season allowed the Mustangs to leap in front, 3-2.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Rea.
