Sooners Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
Oklahoma Sooners starter Brian Kiesel was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Iowa State Cyclones, 6-3. Earning his 5th save for Oklahoma was Zachary Schultz. The third-place Sooners have won 6 in a row.

Mark Kandah aided the Oklahoma cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Kiesel said after the game.
