Fisher Hits 2 home runs in Yellow Jackets Win
Georgia Tech played host to Oklahoma State at the friendly confines of Castles Ballpark.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets beat the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 9-2, at Castles Ballpark. Georgia Tech first baseman Jamie Fisher earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. J.J. Rex earned the win for Georgia Tech. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing no earned runs on 4 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 1-1. Chris Weitz locked down his 1st save.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Fisher hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Yellow Jackets into the lead, 2-0.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Georgia Tech manager Reese Mitchell. "Our pregame was pretty good."

The win leaves Georgia Tech with a record of 4-4.
